Sweet almond oil is extracted from (you guessed it!) sweet almonds. Originating in Asia and the Middle East, almonds weren’t brought to North America until the 19th century. Sweet almond oil is so nourishing to the skin, and is also great for the heart and the colon, and has even been shown to help prevent diabetes and cancer.
