Schizandra (aka Schisandra) Berries
Schizandra berries contain incredible adaptogenic properties-- which means they actually help balance the body’s stress hormones, and normalize organ function during times of mental, emotional, physical, or environmental stress.

Schizandra berries also helped to increase my physical endurance and stamina—I used to be super active from morning till late-night before this whole plandemic. So what other sort of symptoms or conditions would I use schizandra berry for--if I wasn’t concerned about the health of my eyes, or energy levels, or about keeping my memory sharp, and my mind focused, or, always striving to have that youthful glow...?
If I struggled with adrenal fatigue, I would for sure make schizandra berry a daily part of my herbal infusions...also, if I struggled with heart disease, or any other cardiovascular issues, or if was struggling with autoimmune disorders; most notably anything neurological—schizandra berry would also be on the front lines with me, during my healing journey!
If I had issues with my blood sugar, I would bring in schizandra berry to help keep my blood sugar stable and balanced. If I had any liver inflammation happening, or if my liver tissues were being destroyed—I would make sure to bring in the schizandra berry as well.
In Chinese medicine, schizandra is often used to soothe respiratory illnesses such as chronic coughs, bronchitis, pneumonia, COPD, and respiratory infections (Which was a bonus for me as well, since I suffered with chronic bronchitis over the years—and have since completely healed from.)
Ashwagandha is a medicinal herb that has some incredible adaptogenic properties as well. It’s medicinal compounds can significantly reduce stress related conditions. It is also an effective immune boosting herb that has the ability to increase the white blood cell count, and prepare the body to produce antigens to fight against different infections and allergies too (this according to Medical Medium).
Momma Smiles and I have always liked ashwagandha because it's beneficial for the thyroid, as it helps the body produce thyroid hormones which can increase energy, and promote a balanced sleep cycle. (Momma Smiles was struggling with her sleep cycles until we got her on ashwagandha daily. She started to notice a difference in her sleep cycles after a few weeks into her adding this medicinal herb into her herbal infusions).
I also like ashwagandha because it’s excellent for improving the function of my brain and neurotransmitters—and you have to know by now, how dedicated I am to nurturing the heath of my ‘noodle’ (my brain). On top of this, ashwagandha was clutch for my physically demanding lifestyle before this plandemic—If you are an athlete, or looking to increase your endurance and strength while training, you’d find value in consuming daily herbal infusions with ashwagandha (I know I do).
So what other sort of symptoms or conditions would I use ashwagandha for…?
If I suffered from adrenal fatigue, adrenal exhaustion, neuro exhaustion, depression, anxiety, insomnia, asthma, any heart related issues, and kidney problems—ashwagandha would be by my side during my healing journey. Ashwagandha can improve oxygen flow as well, which is very beneficial for anyone looking to reverse their chronic illness—especially in the lungs and on a cellular level.
If I was experiencing any neurological conditions, like brain fog, migraines, headaches, tremors, spasms, restless legs or restless arms, or any type of chronic nerve pain—ashwagandha would likely be part of my healing protocol too.
