Detoxing from heavy metals was a huge turning point in my life. After my mom passed away at the age of 59 from early onset Alzheimer’s, I was determined to not let this disease in my life again -- in any form or fashion. So, after getting educated in the field of Holistic and Natural Medicine, I learned about the correlation between heavy metals, toxins, and disease. Namely, I learned about the correlation between aluminum and Alzheimer’s.
I also learned that the majority of the heavy metals we have in our system come from the womb. So, I decided to get tested (I did a urine test) for heavy metals, and sure enough, I was high in several -- lead, mercury, nickel, and yes, aluminum. I decided it was time to take control of my health, and the next logical step was to detox from these heavy metals. That was a process (and is still somewhat of an ongoing process) because if you think about it, we have spent years and decades accumulating these metals in our bodies. They don’t just leave overnight.
However, there are several foods you can eat, herbs you can take, and different programs you can follow to detox from heavy metals. After personally going through this (my first cleansing was about 8 months long), I can tell you that I felt like a new person -- brain fog lifted, more energy, and less mood swings. I felt like I had my life back -- and that I had control of my health. And this time, I wasn’t going to give that to anyone else.
In the world that we live in, with the countless chemicals and toxins in the air, our food supply, our cosmetics, and even the toxic thoughts in our minds, we have to always be mindful of this. It’s a good idea to know what foods to eat and what protocols to take to get these metals out of your body. It’s very important to watch what foods you are eating and what you are putting on your skin (your largest organ) as everything gets absorbed within a matter of seconds.
I’m excited to hear what a difference this makes in your life!
