Seaweed Soap

In collaboration with Macro Magic and The Spirit of Rice Documentary, we are excited to bring you this amazing soap.

This seaweed soap features kombu, kelp, and dulse.

Dulse has been known to promote healthy skin for a long time.  It can be used topically as an exfoliant (which you will find with this bar), which helps the skin to sluff off dead skin cells and impurities.  Taken internally, it has been known to tighten and nourish the skin. 

Seaweed Extract is helpful for those with dry skin, as it is a great moisturizer with its high iodine content.  Because it has so many minerals and antioxidants, it has been known to also soften the skin.  It also helps the skin to retain this moisture, keeping it hydrated for longer.  

Kelp can help reduce swelling on the skin from burns, bites, or even acne.  It is also a natural exfoliant (which you will find along with the dulse in this bar).   Kelp is full of antioxidants, which helps to protect the skin from pollution and environmental toxins.  It assists the skin in maintaining elasticity and reducing wrinkles.

Rosemary essential oil hydrates the skin and is great in helping hair to grow (try this bar on your hair!).  It helps to clear up acne, and is very relaxing to smell.

In conjunction with the rosemary essential oil, we’ve also added orange essential oil to this bar.  Orange is a very uplifting scent and compliments the rosemary.

Seaweed Soap Ingredients: Purified water, organic seaweed extract, lye*, organic virgin fair trade shea nut butter, organic extra virgin olive oil, organic sweet almond oil, organic rice oil, organic dulse flakes, organic kelp flakes, diatomaceous earth, organic rosemary essential oil, organic orange essential oil.

(*no lye left in final product after saponification)
