Hailing from India, the unique kokum(pronounced ko-koom) butter offers numerous rock star qualities to our body butter. Kokum is very high in antioxidants. Along with coconut oil and shea butter we have a recipe that will make you glow from head to toe.
Lemongrass has a vibrant citrus scent, and many people also say it smells earthy. It is well known in Southeastern Asian cooking, where this thready grass is often used because of it’s yummy taste and help to the digestive system.
Lemongrass contains something called limonene, which can help to lighten and tighten the skin, and can also reduce scars, such as acne. Lemongrass can help menstrual cramps, help relieve headaches, and is a natural fever reducer. It can help to reduce redness, swelling and itching, it is great at helping to relieve muscle pain and spasms and is overall healing to the skin, which is why it is absolutely perfect in our Body Butter!
