Red Root is a healing herb that has effective antibiotic, antispasmodic, antiviral, and expectorant properties. I love this healing herb because it’s a powerful lymphatic cleanser! I’m very proactive at regularly utilizing the herbs which help to cleanse the garbage out of my lymphatic system. As someone who suffered with sinus infections, chest infections, and bronchitis, I was always looking for healing herbs which would shorten the duration of any bouts of sickness I experienced—especially in the respiratory department. Red root is great for knocking down episodes of sinusitis and bronchitis. Since it has antispasmodic properties, red root helped me when I was experiencing painful menstrual cramps.
Red root is also great for helping to prevent or shorten the duration of colds, flu, and respiratory infections. It has the ability to help remove phlegm and mucus from the respiratory tract and sinus passages. As an added bonus--red root also works well for digestive ailments, especially gas, and bloating.
So what other sort of symptoms or conditions would I use red root for?
In addition to sinusitis, bronchitis, and painful periods, if I suffered with urinary tract infections, liver problems, mononucleosis, chicken pox, fever, nosebleeds, headaches, and asthma, I would be bringing in the red root. If I was dealing with muscle spasms, leg cramps, constipation, indigestion, or abdominal pain, I would make sure I was utilizing this antispasmodic healing herb daily.
Medical Medium says that red root is very effective at eliminating ovarian and breast cysts from the body. He also notes that this healing herb has mild sedative properties which can help alleviate depression and tendencies for insomnia.
Red root is commonly used to treat Epstein-Barr virus, shingles, Hodgkin’s disease and hepatitis. It has also been used in the treatment of STDs such as syphilis and gonorrhea. Red root is particularly beneficial for oral health and has been shown to help prevent canker sores, tooth decay, dental plaque, and gum infections. As a gargle, it can help to prevent or stop strep throat, sore throat, or tonsillitis.
** If you have acute inflammation of the spleen, you should avoid RED ROOT **
Olive Leaf is a powerful and effective medicinal herb that contains a plethora of healing properties which support the cardiovascular system, circulatory, respiratory, digestive, immune, and lymphatic systems.

According to Medical Medium, olive leaf can help to wipe out flu viruses faster than most medications! I used Olive leaf to help me heal from chronic bronchitis and sinusitis
What other symptoms or conditions would I use Olive Leaf for? Anything heart related. Olive leaf has the ability to significantly lower blood pressure and maintain it at a healthy level. It contains a compound called Oleuropein which helps to prevent the constriction of arteries, increase blood flow, and improve the hearts function. Medical Medium says olive leaf can also help to lower LDL (bad) cholesterol and prevent the risk of strokes and heart disease.
